Dear Customer:
This guide was designed to provide you with the basic knowledge needed
for permanent, problem-free ceramic tile installations. It will help you
select the proper material and method of installation, as well as assist
with directional information, guidance, and helpful hints. It expands on
package information and brochures, allowing you to install your own tile
in a professional manner by minimizing, if not eliminating, procedural and
mechanical errors.
In preparing this guide we have endeavored to be as thorough as possible.
However, the reader should appreciate that installing ceramic tile is a
combination of skilled art and science. As such, it can not be reduced to
one, all-encompassing book. Field installations vary immensely and must
be analyzed on an individual basis. We have attempted to supply the science;
you the installer must supply the "Art". When in doubt, consult
your ceramic tile distributor. He will assist you in using the materials
of our trade.
If your questions are of a more technical or complex nature, Super-Tek
stands ready to assist you in your presentation by preparing detailed specification
sheets for your specific installation proposals. We can also review architects'
preliminary drawings and specifications to verify the suitability, selection,
application, and implementation of the materials needed for your project.
Super-Tek Products, Inc. manufactures a full line of quality installation
and maintenance products for the ceramic tile trade. The products are available
from ceramic tile distributors throughout the United States. If you are
planning a ceramic tile installation now or in the near future, remember,
we can supply all of your material needs with "High Performance Products".

(Author's note: The term "ceramic tile" used throughout
the text should not be interpreted in a restricted manner. Rather, it is
meant to include a wide variety of surfacing materials such as marble, slate,
stone, brick pavers, mosaics, quarries, etc.)
All data and information herein are to the best of our knowledge
correct. The suitability of a product or information thereof, for an intended
use, shall be solely the responsibility of the USER.
